Night Flights
January 15, 2024Time for Grace and Tom (part three)
In the finale of their cosmic tale,
Tom and Grace, their efforts prevail.
Through time's abyss, a rift they mend,
In each other's arms, love to transcend.
A meeting point in the temporal sea,
Tom embraced Grace, his love set free.
Eyes locked in a gaze, ages apart,
Their souls rekindled, a beating heart.
Yet, time had carved its mark,
Leaving an imprint, stark.
Grace, once vibrant, a timeless flower,
Now felt the weight of each passing hour.
Tom, unchanged by temporal strife,
Gazed at Grace, the love of his life.
But in her eyes, a distant gaze,
A weariness from time's cruel maze.
Their love, a flame that once burned bright,
Now flickered in the waning light.
Years apart, the toll it took,
On Grace's spirit, like an open book.
"I chased you through time," Tom said,
"But time, my love, has left you threadbare."
Grace smiled, a bittersweet glow,
"I waited, but time moves slow."
Hand in hand, they stood together,
A love that weathered time's harsh weather.
Yet, Grace, a shadow of her past,
Her strength consumed, her vitality cast.
In the embrace of love, so dear,
Tom whispered, wiping a silent tear,
"Time may have stolen your youthful grace,
But my love for you will never erase."
Together they faced the cosmic tide,
A love that could not be denied.
Through time's vast and endless stream,
Tom and Grace, a timeless dream.
In the echoes of their love's refrain,
Tom held Grace, easing her pain.
A reunion bittersweet, yet divine,
In the tapestry of time, their love would shine.
