Echoes of You
September 16, 2024Radical Bunny
In a meadow green and bright,
Lived Ralph the Radical Bunny,
With fur so soft and eyes so bright,
He hopped through days so sunny.
Ralph had dreams that soared so high,
Past the clouds and over trees,
He wished to touch the sky,
And dance with every breeze.
While other bunnies ate their greens,
And rested in the shade,
Ralph would chase his wildest dreams,
And never be afraid.
He built a rocket from old logs,
And found some twine and glue,
He painted stars and moons on rocks,
And said, “I’ll fly to you!”
With friends all cheering loud and clear,
He climbed aboard his craft,
They waved goodbye and wished good cheer,
And hoped that he’d fly fast.
Up, up, and away he soared,
Past the hills and valleys,
He saw the world from every shore,
And danced in space’s alleys.
But soon he missed his meadow dear,
His friends and morning sun,
So Ralph returned with joyful cheer,
His space adventure done.
Back in the meadow, Ralph told tales,
Of stars and planets bright,
His friends all listened, wide-eyed and pale,
As day turned into night.
Ralph learned that dreams are great to chase,
But home is where hearts stay,
And though he loved his outer space,
He’d never lose his way.
So if you see a bunny hop,
With dreams both big and bright,
Remember Ralph, who never stopped,
And always found the light.
For every dream and every quest,
Can lead us far and wide,
But home is where we find our rest,
And love will always guide.
