And I can't help but feel aghast
At all the suffering that I see
At all the pain that surrounds me

But in the midst of all this pain
I still hold hope, and still remain
Convinced that we can make a change
And turn the tide, and rearrange

The world into a better place
Where love and kindness take the space
Of greed and hatred, war and strife
And where we all can live a life

Of peace, and joy, and harmony
With nature, and with all humanity
So let us join our hands and hearts
And make a world where love imparts

Its healing balm to every wound
And where all voices can be heard
For in this world that we create
We can find hope, and not just fate
