Better Days To Find
December 24, 2024
Echoes of the Iron Wheel
December 28, 2024Pages of My Life
Verse
The morning light paints this room in gold,
A story unfolds as the day grows old.
Each line I've written, etched deep in my mind,
A tale of love, loss, and time left behind.
The winds of change, they called my name,
And I followed paths I couldn't tame.
But through it all, the ink ran true,
Writing the story that leads to you.
Chorus
The pages turned, became the years,
Marked by laughter, stained by tears.
Each chapter’s voice, a memory set,
And the story’s not over yet.
No, I’ve not reached the epilogue,
Still building paragraphs through the fog.
The tale’s unwinding, one by one,
This book of life is far from done.
Verse
The mountains high, the rivers wide,
The roads I’ve traveled and those I’ve tried.
The compass spun, the stars stood still,
Guiding me onward by sheer will.
I’ve seen the sunsets, held the dawn,
Watched the tides roll out and on.
With every step, a lesson learned,
Each page another corner turned.
Chorus
The pages turned, became the years,
Marked by laughter, stained by tears.
Each chapter’s voice, a memory set,
And the story’s not over yet.
No, I’ve not reached the epilogue,
Still building paragraphs through the fog.
The tale’s unwinding, one by one,
This book of life is far from done.
Bridge
The pen is steady, though the hand may tire,
The ink flows on with a quiet fire.
And when the final word is near,
I’ll face it all without a fear.
Verse
But for now, the pages wait,
For moments still to resonate.
Each fleeting glance, each fleeting kiss,
A precious fragment I won’t dismiss.
Chorus
The pages turned, became the years,
Marked by laughter, stained by tears.
Each chapter’s voice, a memory set,
And the story’s not over yet.
No, I’ve not reached the epilogue,
Still building paragraphs through the fog.
The tale’s unwinding, one by one,
This book of life is far from done.
Outro
So here I sit with pen in hand,
Writing the life I’ll come to understand.
The story moves, it won't forget,
And I’ve not reached the ending yet.
