Verse
In her hazel eyes, I had found my place,
Defined by her love and her sweet embrace,
Her friends became mine, in laughter entwined,
We built a world where dreams would align.
Pre-Chorus
I toiled with love and labored for years,
Pouring my heart into joy and tears,
All for the life I longed to bestow,
But little did I know how far she'd go.
Chorus
Now she's gone, took all I strived for,
Leaving me lost, my soul feeling sore,
In the ruins of a life once so bright,
I search for myself, in the dark of the night.
Verse
In the echo of her laughter, I lost sight,
Forgot my passions in the blaze of her light,
But as she departed, she took my soul,
And the dreams we nurtured, she fiercely stole.
Pre-Chorus
I'm left with the pieces, a shattered soul,
A man once whole, now an empty hole,
Years have passed, but I still stand still,
Waiting for the light, for fate to reveal.
Chorus
Now she's gone, took all I strived for,
Leaving me lost, my soul feeling sore,
In the ruins of a life once so bright,
I search for myself, in the dark of the night.
Bridge
In the solitude of my silent abode,
I confront the truth that's painfully showed,
I never knew myself, so how can I be,
The man I should, the man I could see?
Pre-Chorus
My identity entwined with her,
Now I wander, lost, unsure where to stir,
I trace the stars, seeking a new sight,
Waiting for the light, to guide me through the night.
Chorus
Now she's gone, took all I strived for,
Leaving me lost, my soul feeling sore,
In the ruins of a life once so bright,
I search for myself, in the dark of the night.
