Crimson
August 16, 2023Song of The Working Class
Verse
In the land of maple trees and open skies,
A tale of struggle and hardship arise.
What has happened to, our beloved home,
Where the people's voices often feel alone.
Chorus
Sing the song of the working class,
Bearing all of the system's impasse.
Job and home loss, aching hearts,
As higher food costs tear us apart.
Taxation burdens, inflation's grip,
The suffering we endure, kill by bit.
Verse
Once there were dreams of a prosperous land,
But now we face trials, we can barely withstand.
Politicians in suits, their promises fade,
Leaving us with empty words and charades.
Chorus
Sing the song of the working class,
Bearing all of the system's impasse.
Job and home loss, aching hearts,
As higher food costs tear us apart.
Taxation burdens, inflation's grip,
The suffering we endure, kill by bit.
Bridge
Oh, the factories close, leaving towns in despair,
Families shattered, feeling life isn't fair.
Empty storefronts line our streets,
As hope slips away and hardship meets.
Verse
Yet amidst the struggle, resilience blooms,
As communities unite and dispel the gloom.
Voices rise, demanding a change,
For a future where prosperity won't estrange.
Chorus
Sing the song of the working class,
Bearing all of the system's impasse.
Job and home loss, aching hearts,
As higher food costs tear us apart.
Taxation burdens, inflation's grip,
The suffering we endure, kill by bit.
Outro
Sing loud, let our voices be heard,
May our leaders listen, and truly be spurred,
To mend the broken, ease the pain,
And build a future where hope will regain.
