In the golden heart of Canada's embrace,
Lies a land vast and serene, with boundless grace,
Where endless prairies stretch their fertile plains,
And whisper tales of pioneers' enduring strains.
The Canadian Prairies, resplendent and grand,
Your majesty unfolds across the land,
A symphony of amber waves, dancing in the breeze,
As far as the eye can behold, a vision to appease.
Within your vast expanse, a gentle solitude resides,
As nature's harmony gently collides,
Where the whispering wind murmurs timeless tunes,
And the rustling grasses sway beneath the moon.
From the Cypress Hills to the Qu'Appelle Valley,
A tapestry of life unfolds, a natural rally,
The earth's canvas painted with prairie flowers,
A kaleidoscope of colors, where blissful hours
Are spent in contemplation, a tranquil retreat,
Where the soul finds solace and moments sweet,
For in these wide open spaces, nature's embrace,
We find ourselves in harmony, at peace with grace.
The call of the loon reverberates in the air,
As the sun sets ablaze, painting skies fair,
Reflecting on the mirror of shimmering lakes,
A reflection of life's journey, the beauty it makes.
On the banks of mighty rivers, like the Red and the Assiniboine,
Our hearts beat in rhythm, with the land we join,
And as we wander through fields of golden wheat,
We connect with the essence, where time and eternity meet.
Here, the spirit of the land is woven deep,
In the hearts of those who sow and reap,
For the prairie folk, hardy and true,
Know the toil and triumphs, under skies so blue.
In solitude, we find ourselves anew,
Amidst the prairie grasses, a wisdom imbued,
The lessons of simplicity, the humility of the earth,
Revealing truths of life, of infinite worth.
Oh, Canadian Prairies, in your embrace we find,
A refuge from the chaos of humankind,
To walk your open spaces, a pilgrimage of the soul,
Where silence speaks volumes, making us whole.
So let us celebrate the Canadian Prairies grand,
A landscape of wonder, crafted by nature's hand,
In awe of its beauty, we stand in reverence true,
For in its boundless splendor, we find ourselves too.
